I am more than pleased with the quality of the clip and how pretty it looks when I clip it on my long hair. It holds it very well and stayed tight; with no slip.
I was looking for something that's a basic staple in terms of function, and that also has personality—this is perfect! I bought this solely based on the look, so I was happy to find out when it arrived that it's well-made and holds my thick hair really well. I don't know if it's the design or the spring mechanism (or something else), but I also like that once it's in my hair, I can push it closed just a little more if I want more tension, and it stays. Cute accents in terms of packaging; it's clear this shop takes pride in its business.
